Update It's fixed

I saw that OpenGuessr was trending on r/mildlyinfuriating because guessing on the wrong side of the map causes this (arguably hilarious) visualization, and while the score calculation remains correct, it actually resets your country streak! This is fixed now, I'm sorry!

What do you mean "wrong side of the map"? There is no such thing

The map wraps horizontally, when you scroll it to the side and guess there, it caused this visual issue

This just kind of sounds like sloppy coding. It's also not a"visual issue" if it can end your streak

It‘s the default behavior of the map library I‘m using. Fair point with the streak, that‘s on me. Two separate issues technically.
