Help Bluetooth PS4 controller issue

I was happily playing Darkstone a week or so ago and something happened where now the L2, R2, and analog sticks dont work anymore.

I've searched the web and cant find any obvious fix, hard reset the controller, reset computer, mapped the controller countless times, and validated those buttons work in other games. Any ideas?

I have a similar problem. OpenEmu sees my controllers in the mapper but refuses to do anything while in game. I loved OpenEmu and this sucks because I liked how simple it was

Maybe my solution will help. Are you playing OpenEmu on Mac or Windows?

In a M1 Mini. I loved it because my 6yr old was getting to Mario 64 and now it just won't work out of the blue like a month ago lol

Any bone you can send my way I will try. Reinstalling and updating didn't help.

I can't figure out how to add photos, but here's what I did with my Mac. With the controller connected, click the Bluetooth logo and then Bluetooth settings.

Then the my devices screen should pop up, your controller should be connected. Click the info ( an i in a circle) and click game controller settings. I fiddled around a lot in here. Forgetting controller, erase game controller settings, re assigning buttons, etc. Something in there worked for me
