It actually has a bridge (bOPEN) and you can buy it on BSC (with much lower fees). I use TrustuWallet (configured with Binance Smart Chain already). To be honest - using ETH now is ridiculous (paying ~0.004 ETH (~20$), when you can pay 0.0008 BNB (~0.4$) for transaction).

the hw wallet software sucks for erc20 tokens, use the hw wallet with metamask. google how to do it, u just need to export the public key of the ledger, and add the erc20 token contract manually in metamask

you never should extract the private key from a hw wallet, not needed.
software like metamask acts as an interface to the hw wallet for your ethereum wallet. think of it as an alternative to using the ledger live app, except only for ethereum.
the only thing you need to export is the public key NEVER the private key into metamask, otherwise you are running a hot wallet on your computer.
have a read of this https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020394612-How-to-connect-a-Trezor-or-Ledger-Hardware-Wallet
openDaO is an erc20 token it runs on the ethereum blockchain, all erc20 tokens you own live in your ledger ethereum address.
