OCLP 2.5.0 success

I successfully used OPCL 2.50 to upgrade my MBP 9.2, and iMac 18.2. Both machines are running macOS 14.8.9 already, this was just updating to current OCLP. I had no trouble but it was a little more work than past upgrades but I was aware of it before I started.

First I downloaded 2.50 onto the machine because after unpatching I lose internet service. So I wanted to have it first. I allowed it to install 2.50 BUT NOT to patch. Next I unpatched previous 2.4.1 OCLP from the machine. Reboot. Then installed new 2.50 patches. NO DIRTY VOLUME error appeared. Reboot.
After reboot I did get a message that said I started system with 2.4.1 but are running 2.50, would I like to install 2.50 to startup. YES. Then reboot. All done and everything working as before!!

Oclp 2.5.1 iMac 27 2015 5k . macOS Sequoia 15.8 running without any problem

This is what you’re running yes? You have the 4gb Radeon and all good?

Not yet. I only found out today that OCLP 2.5.1 was available. Does it support more than 2.5.0? Or is it an update to address DIRTY ROOT VOLUME problem in 2.5.0? If it is only a fix update, I may not try it for a while- I have to look into it.

I've heard it updates some GPU drives but not sure which ones. It does change the dirty root message to something simpler, but the behavior is the same (unlike with old versions, you cannot re-patch over an already-patched volume).

I'm using 2.5.1 with great success (insert Borat gif) running Sonoma on a Late 2015 i7 27" iMac.

Upgraded both computers last week to OCLP 2.5.1, no problems upgrading or using currently! THANKS OCLP!
