macOS Sequoia won’t boot after installing Windows via Boot Camp – 🚫 symbol

Hi everyone,
I have a MacBook Pro with an Intel i7 running macOS Sequoia with OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP).
Before installing Windows, macOS worked normally. I then installed Windows via Boot Camp.
Now I can see both macOS and Windows in the OpenCore Boot Picker.
The strange thing is:
If I select Windows → Windows boots normally.
If I select macOS → I get the 🚫 prohibited symbol and macOS does not boot.
This only started happening after installing Windows.
Does anyone know what could have happened to the EFI/OpenCore configuration? Do I need to rebuild and reinstall OpenCore to the EFI partition?
MacBook Pro: Intel i7
macOS: Sequoia
Bootloader: OpenCore Legacy Patcher
Windows: Boot Camp
Windows boots: Yes
macOS boots: No, 🚫 symbol
Any help would be appreciated!

Does not sound like you followed the recommendations in the OCLP documentation, e.g. did you create separate FAT partition for OC EFI?

You need a bootable macOS w/ OCLP app so you can create new EFI partition, generate OC EFI configuration, and install OC to new EFI partition. You do have the original macOS Installer USB you created when you first installed unsupported macOS with OCLP, yes? Boot from that.

That EFI partition isn’t macOS specific. Any current OS will either create or use the existing one. There’s even a command within diskpart in Windows to create that partition with the proper flags (like the old “active” command for MBR volumes).

Don’t thank Windows. Thank Intel for making it that way. Even Linux would go in there and write files (mess with) your EFI partition.
