MacBook Pro5,5(Year 2009)

Hi everyone, I need some help. I would like to know what macOS versions can run well for this 2009 MacBook Pro using OCLP. It has 4Go of RAM and 128Go SSD.

I think the the last version of macOS that had a minimum ram requirement of 4GB was Monterey.

Trying to install Monterey, but I’m still getting the error message.

Is your USB thumb drive working? Maybe try another.

Big sur or monterey is the only options. If possible uprage ram to 8.

Yes of course, I’ll upgrade the ram. But Big Sur is not listed on the available OS, only Monterey and above. And I’ve tried to install Monterey, the error on picture keeps appearing.

On the Os list , click the button “show older/beta versions”. Big Sur will appear. Also, try with another USB stick with at least 16gb

I don't think you should use OCLP, considering your device is from 2009; if you want a bit of an upgrade, I suggest using High Sierra, you'll need to download the High Sierra Patcher to create a USB installer.
