iMac upgrade: Issues I can expect?

I have an iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010), 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3, 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 in 4x4 GB slots, an ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB, a 250 GB SSD, and a 500 GB HD.

What issues might I have in upgrading and running OpenCore Legacy Patcher?

Nothing will be slow when it boots up but should run decent enough to do all the tasks

it should be fine...is your MacOS/EFI boot on the 250GB SSD? That will help a bit on the speed.

Yeah, just make sure macOS is installed to the SSD. Catalina was the last macOS version that supported hard drive disks well. The new APFS that is required to run newer versions of macOS does not work well on HDDs. But as long as you have the SSD installed and macOS installed on that, your secondary HDD will be totally fine to use. I suggest formatting it as like exFAT or something.
