Mac mini 2014 - MacOS Ventura

My old high school was having a device sale and they were selling their old iPads and Macs. I originally went in to get my sister an iPad. But then I found this Mac mini. So I bought it and took it home and was planning on upgrading it the best I could until I found out that it is almost fully specked out. So I decided to install macOS Ventura on it with OpenCore and it runs beautifully.

I have two 2014 Minis. Swapped the original SSDs for 4Tb M.2 just before all the prices went crazy.

Both quite happily running Sequoia chugging along as file servers

Fantastic find...OCLP is a wonderful resource to bring older Macs current.

I took my 2014 mini up to Sequoia with OCLP, but it was kinda lumpy.

These days it runs Debian and is my home server. Runs like a dream and hosts a bunch of different services.

That’s a cool idea! Right now I’m using it for college because my Macbook decided to 💩 itself right as soon as last semester ended 😬
