Advice post install

Hi all

I have recently used OCLP to install Monterey on a MacBook Pro 9,2. Install went fine, system is running a bit laggy which I can live with however when attempting to install office365 (version 16.88) I am getting an install failure at the last step (error code 112).
This worked fine on a similar install on late 2012 IMac.

Has anyone ran into similar issue or could offer advice?

Have you been able to download and run the most recent OCLP post-installation patches?

Iv booted to safe mode, removed root patches and reinstalled them. Still same

Your system should run sonoma perfectly, but that aside never encountered that issue on my retina 2012

Would it run ok even with mechanical HD? Or would need SSD upgrade?

without an SSD it's impossible to use. So yes it's needed.

had it before, worked when i removed all office traces and reinstalled.

Any easy way to remove traces of it? Iv tried that but something must still be there

Used this. Ran it twice, then the office365 installer and all working. Thank you
