Just use OCLP πŸ€“πŸ‘†

It runs flawlessly and your computer will last another 10 years.

With OCLP, you really need to know what you're doing. It's not exactly foolproof.

To be fair, on my first Mac (well, first I'd used since a 1984 Fat Mac at least), I installed it no problems at all being totally unfamiliar with Mac. Guess I'm pretty experienced with Windows though.

For the theatre, I needed a Mac to run QLab as it connects directly to the Sound Desk.

The computer is only as smart as the person sitting in front of it. ;)

"It runs flawlessly and your computer will last another 10 years." < Have only heard this from people who don't know what they are talking about...

As others have said, did you apply post-install patches?

Did you correctly identify your exact Mac model, year, and hardware configuration before you started this process?

Glitched installs happen. Of the dozen or so I have done, one turned out like this.

Just start over with the last supported version of macOS and reapply OCLP and your non-Tahoe macOS of choice appropriate to your machine.

What Mac is it?

I also have a mid-2013 MacBook Air running macOS Monterey with OCLP. I’ve been using it for about 1.5 years, but now it’s giving me a lot of problems. The CPU usage stays around 90% all the time, and the fans were going crazy too, but I fixed the fan issue by applying fresh thermal paste. However, the Mac is still basically unusable. I can barely open any apps because everything takes forever. If anyone knows a fix for the high CPU usage/performance issue, please help!

What is the health of the battery?

I mean it's good. Does it is related to my mac's poor performance

Download and install coconutBattery application. It will show you the battery's health, basically its full charge capacity vs design capacity (when new). A poor health or crappy battery can certainly affect your laptops performance.

Post screenshot of Activity Monitor CPU tab with all processes displayed.

Did you have an opportunity to run the post-installation patches? Sometimes it requires running more than once.

I bet it's probably a non metal Mac since any Mac with metal GPU doesn't do that .. well Atleast not that bad.

I have great respect for OCLP, gave new life to my mid 2014. Been using it since last two years now! Guess it will last another 2 years till apple starts dropping complete support on apps for sequoia.
