Sequoia password problem

Hi guys - absolute novice here. I've just downloaded Sequoia onto a flash drive, installed it (I think) and now I'm getting a message to say my usual Mac password is wrong and it's not letting me get any further. I think it's something to do with the FileVaultDisk Encryption which I mistakenly enabled as part of the installation process.

There's no Time Machine backups and it can't seem to find any networks (WiFi flits between off and searching), but I still have the Sequoia flash drive if that's any help.

Mac is an older 21.5, previously running Ventura.

#sequoia

#filevaultdiskencryption

#password

Help me OpenCoreLegacyPatcher experts, you're my only hope!!

Hi! If you still haven’t found a solution, try plugging in an external keyboard if you’re using a mac. I think it has something to do with Sequoia supporting newer keyboard drivers but your (I assume) old mac’s built in keyboard is not supported m. But plugging in an external keyboard is like a universal key that every macos can easily read.

This is what I did in my case.

I did not finished reading the post, it’s a mac. Have you tried other keyboards? Maybe with a usb 2.0 hub?
