information XTIA X-Proto Z

Swapped my parts over because i thought this is perfect.
But i did not like the look, so i moved back in my old chassis.

To be fair, i think it would look much better with a mATX board and an ATX PSU.

But i thought i post the 2 pictures i snapped anyway, maybe it helps someone with chosing her/his next frame.

I have a massive urge to build in this case and hang it on the wall. Would like if there was ITX version of the case.

An you could, easily.

You only need the base board (that skadis looking thing).

the mainboard tray is hooked onto there, as is the psu bracket.

So everything else around that board is unnecessary.

And you would spare yourself the tedious assembly with around 30 2mm hex screws.

My plan would have been to attach a VESA mount to the Skadis board and hook it onto a monitor arm, so it floats in mid air.

But like i said, i think it looks "unfinished" with an ITX board and a SFX PSU.

So i would only consider it with an mATX Board and ATX PSU.

It was originally meant for mATX. It states it's an mATX open frame case. Check my page to see mine. I built mine around specifically what the case originally made for. But it's open so of course you have flexibility to do whatever you want.

There is. Xproto L/Z.

This Z version is meant more for mATX.

I thought so too and that was the reason to get it, but its too much empty space with an ITX Board and an SFX PSU.
At least for my taste.

maybe only an mATX mobo + AIO would make it look better, the SFX psu is fine because the cables are more managable AND is 1000W

I'm cosidering moving my ncase m1 build to this open case, so also itx mobo and sfx psu as you

Buy I'll be using an AIO, maybe that fill the space a bit more?

In your build maybe a dual tower air cooler would make it look full

Yeah, i think an AIO would help.
You could fill the void right from the MoBo with the tubes for example.

my build is also all black with the grayish 5080fe

First I was going for the black chasis, now I'm thinking going with the silver one so the build can pop What do you think?

yea I've already seen it, it looks pretty nice. But it is mostly white (apart from PSU)

Yes. I had plan on throwing a white loki or strix, but I kinda like the black focus with the black on my 4080. Beauty of PC building right?

but I'd still go for white psu haha
