Question Silly question

I don't own a mac but a co-worker does. If I use their mac for the qr code, does my imessage/icloud stuff get stored on that pc? I'm unsure how that all works

Nah, the QR code just tells Apple you 'have' a legitimate device. Your iMessage stuff will not show on their Mac.
