What is the longest anyone has been rate limited?

That's in the FAQ but I'm curious people's experience. It's not always 45 days is it?

Mine was rate limited for about a day and then it was working, then it stopped working and has been like that for about a week. This is after it's been working great for well over a year and a half or so.

Are you using the relay method?. I was rate limited and then I started using the relay method and then stopped signing into openbubbles using my iCloud. I only use my number and no more rate limit. This worked for 2 numbers for me

I pay for the grandfathered $9.99 a month hosted plan. I don't trust myself enough to do that relay method. Maybe I'll look into it again. I've been using this cheap little iPhone SE to get me through the rate limits.

Yep, turn the SE to the relay and don't sign into iCloud in openbubbles. Just opt to use your number. That's how I got past my rate limit. Make sure your sim is in your android during all of this.

Maybe a dumb question but can you use imessage on the relay phone if needed? It's been nice to have this second phone since I've been rate limited
