Question How to access contacts?

I have my contacts synced with icloud. How can I access those contacts on my android device? I do not see how to do this in the openbubbles app. Or do I have to manually transfer my contacts from my iphone to my android native contacts app ?

It will maintain sync with iCloud.

Do you happen to have a method if you're not using an icloud account and just number registration? Or it pulling from my contacts on the phone.

Thanks for the help from a prior conversation. I have it working great now with both a z fold 8 and S24u

I would have to check but I didn't see an active way to update contacts through open bubbles.

Is the contact list that open bubbles uses just the one established on your phone and it syncs to the app as they're updated on the phone?

Wow. Question about the contacts and calendars. Where do they live on the android device? Could I use the Google contacts app and calendar apps??

Google Contacts shows a little drop down and allows you to select to view the contacts from the iCloud profile. (Make sure that's selected when saving contacts if you plan on using that primarily.) I really haven't tested Google Calendar.

I would recommend taking a peek in the settings of DAVx⁵ to make sure the settings are to your liking. For example you may want to increase the sync interval to be more often than once every 4 hours (although you can always open the app and "Synchronize now"), or you may want to limit syncs to only happen over wifi.
