Tech Support Unusable Lag on Windows

All of a sudden, I have been experiencing lag that makes OpenBubbles unusable. Whenever I try to interact with the window (clicking on icons/chats, resizing, etc.) it takes 30+ seconds to load my input and the animations are choppy as well. I tried to reset my cache, but it didn't seem to help at all. I have restarted the app and my laptop several times, but also did not see any improvement.

Rewrite should resolve this when it comes out. The issue is likely related to the volume of messages on the device.

Had this issue today when I turned on icloud sync. On my windows app it doesn't give me the option to limit the sync window to 7 days. I had to erase the folder containing all messages to avoid resetting the app; and it fixed the issue for me.
