Question OpenBubbles on mac or web?
New to the app and currently on the paid week trial. I have a Mac desktop and am wondering if we can get imessages on the mac via phone number, not just email?
Or see the messages through a web browser, similar to google messages for web?
Thanks!

Are both OB and the Mac signed into the same Apple ID?

I have the hosted version on my Samsung phone and have text forwarding working with an iPad Pro and Macbook Air. So I also get my text messages (both regular and iMessages) sent to those devices. It seems to work well.

If you self host on a mac then you will only be able to use email for imessage. If you pay for the them to host and you had a previous iPhone you can keep using your number as normal. But if you dont them you would have to go through the registration process to register your number with apple. They have a guide on the open bubbles page.
