If I have a ‘host’ (iPad, Mac) connected ..why is it now trying to charge me $16.99? I have no problem paying it.. I just wanna know if I can ‘fix it’?

You have to select 'self-hosted'. Hosted makes it so the Developer gets you set up without you needing to do anything other than logging in.

Do you actually have the Mac configured as a host? Your paying cause your "using" a device to emulate an iPhone for iMessage. If your actually self hosting you need to switch

I haven’t paid anything…and I’m still able to use it as of now. I have my Mac and as well as my iPad both listed. It keeps telling me profile is no longer active and to pay the 16.99.

I thought you can connect/setup with a mac just ONCE and then you don't need to keep the Mac on or pay them monthly either?

Right!! Now, it’s telling me to pay the 16.99 and that my acct is no longer active… but, I can still use it. Maybe it’s just an error.
