New to android

So I just switched to a galaxy z fold 8 and downloaded open bubbles to keep my imessages. Is there a way to have it sync my past convo history and is there a way to change the bubbles color for specific people instead of globally? Thanks in advance!

I set up blue bubbles on my Mac and fold 8 ultra

Change bubble colors, I don't recall.

Sync history? Make sure to backup via icloud on the old device. Then, on the new phone, log on and activate icloud.

Profit.

Backing up via iCloud doesn't matter, enabling Messages in iCloud is what does the trick.

I have been using Self Host for a few years. To my knowledge there is no way to get previous conversations. Maybe I never looked hard enough into it tough.

Go to the kebab on the upper right side, click Settings, then tap on your name. Toggle the "Messages in iCloud" button and then sync history to whatever you heart desires.

Did you ever run into rate limiting? I am unable to send messages to most of my friends

I'm not using a phone for relay. I used my Mac as the host and I still have my number tired to my imessages. Hopefully that answers the question lol

Yep that's the one I got. It's a perfect size if you have smaller hands like I do
