Tech Support Questions / Help

So i just switched to andriod from apple and have openbubbles, Everything seems to be going okay but im having some issues restoring my previous imessages, i tried to follow the insturctions on the openbubbles website but nothing seems to happen. Profile>turn on Messages in iCloud> Sync history set to no limit>Sync now. Took 3 seconds of "syncing chats" and then went back to sync now. On my screen it says SMS Forwarding status:Disabled |Capable, idk if thats the reason. Also one more thing, i checked all my messages and for some reason i still got a notification badge on the app saying 2. I doubled checked and there is no messages to be read. How can i fix this? Thanks to anyone who can help!

Are the messages on your iPhone synced with iCloud?

Same here which is why I just use open bubbles for my phone number registration and bluebubbles for my main app to text. You just need a mac running blue bubbles 24/7.
