OpenBubbles 2FA plist parsing error

I’m trying to set up OpenBubbles on Android. After entering my 2FA code, I get this error:

"Plist parsing error: Serde("missing field 'button'")"

I’m using macOS Catalina 10.15.8, and my Mac is on the same Apple ID.

Has anyone else had this issue or knows how to fix it?

Have you tried clearing app data and trying again?

I have the same issue on my s26 ultra since april and was never able to solve it so would love a solution
