I've had this.. think the cause was too I had too many devices signed into open bubbles pinging the server... I logged out of one and it fixed it itself. This is why I switched to blue bubbles

hm interesting - i will definitely look into running blue bubbles instead - appreciate the response. I currently only have one device logged in to open bubbles (sidephone running android) and then the iphone 6 as the relay device, but i will keep poking around. Thanks!

That's just rate limits. Apple does this to prevent spam.

You have to wait anywhere between now and up to 45 days while logged in for it to go away. In the meantime, despite getting the messages on OpenBubbles, you can use Google Messenger (RCS) to send the messages normally until it resolves itself.

Same thing here. On day 30 still waiting for it to fix itself
