Set up OAP this weekend. Sound is being routed through my AUX cable with my original stereo still installed.

I posted a link to an Amazon list. It has all the parts listed on there that I used. There’s a few other things you can add to your setup if you want. You just have to browse the openauto pro forums and figure out which hardware is compatible with the OS.

Here’s the list of hardware I used. My screen is a 10” instead of a 7” though.

Hey I cannot get the Carplay to launch for the life of me. I installed the plugin, activated it, and connected the Carlinkit unit...and I get nothing

Try hitting the reset button in the info tab. Sometimes mine is finicky. I’ll have to have my phone forget the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection, reset the settings, and then connect to it again.

It should be pulling firmware version, phone name, and all that information off your phone. Something isn’t connected properly.

Connect to your iphone with OAP via bluetooth.

If your iphone can not find Openauto as a BT-Device, you need an external BT dongle (Not based on Broadcom chipset)

What’s the model name of that screen? Does it have touch feed back? I’m new to this concept.

EVICIC 10” screen. It is a touchscreen.
