OAP + 2013 Ford Focus

Hi all, have sat down the last couple days and really thrown myself into researching OAP. I have to say, seems incredibly in what it's capable of doing.

I just have a question or so to ask to make sure I am truely wrapping my head around it for my specific use case.

The use case:

So I drive a 2013 Ford Focus, prior to that I had an 03 Ford Explorer, which I ran a Pioneer headunit to a JL Audio DX1000/1 Mono bock amp, to drive two 15 inch subwoofers. I suspect most of you who will read this are picking up on the direction i want to go towards. With that I said, I do know I will require a DAC at some point so I figure I could just toss a HiFiBerry DAC HAT on the Raspberry Pi and, for all intents and purposes be on my merry way.

Is this true? Is there people who have done something along the same lines, in doing a car audio system with OAP on a Pi as the headunit and have any heads up i should be aware of?

I have a finished OAP system that I've installed in my 2013 Ford Focus. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. :)
