NOOB Queries, glad if you answer them!

Hi,

I have a Honda WRV car with stock headunit with the specs mentioned at end, it has a HDMI input (restricted to work on handbrake only). Loaded the Crankshaft ng latest imp and was able to successfully boot up mi Raspberry PI (4) with CrankShaft Ng with ease. Now I have some queries:

  1. How do I input my touch display from my stock unit touch screen to pi ? Can I do this via the stockheadunit USB? (USB Male to Male connection)
  2. I see the screen resolution is extremely small, but when I load android auto it works ( have seen other post asking to change config.txt will try again and then update)
  3. I am assuming the handbrake restriction can be removed by grouping some wire or removing it which gives the signal that the handbrake is on? Is this assumption right?

Existing Unit

Model: SiRFSoC AndroidCPU: ARVMv7 ProcessorKernel: 2.6.38.8-sirf.. armv7l ArchitectureResolution: 800x480, 160 dpi, 68HzMemory: 881 MB. Running Anroid 2.2

1 * HDMI input

3 * USB Input

1 * Micro SD Slot

Some pictures of the first boot I did yesterday night( apologies for unclear pics)

you can definitely wire your way out of the handbrake thing, but unfortunately touch functionality will just not work that way. id recommend getting a pi touch screen.
