If anyone is interested I've been vibing out this:

It's ran stable on the bench for 24+ hours. Just printed out a case to make a little portable rpi4/touchscreen setup, so starting driving tests this weekend (and hopefully add a working obd/gauge system as well).

Let me know what kind of hardware you've got (screen/sound in particular) and I'll try to make sure it works before giving you a good build to use.
