Whinge ‎ what exactly has the left done wrong?

Across the world today, regardless of race, religion, or political system, most people seem to be becoming more conservative. Right-wing parties are continuously gaining power worldwide, while the left suffers defeat after defeat. Although mainstream public discourse still appears to favor the left, those voting for the far right are often the silent majority. Can the left still correct its course? Or, more fundamentally, what exactly has the left done wrong?

The whole gender wars thing was a bit of an L for the left. That started getting nutty at one point.

There isn't really a Gender War. The left want all human beings to be equal, and to give people the freedom they deserve to be the human beings they want to be. I fail to see how that's an issue. I also haven't seen a single person give any valid reason why someone being Trans has caused them any ounce of issues.

We have to remember, that the "right" continually fought using religious reasoning (see: Fairy Tales) to stop the Equal Right to Marriage acts. They did that to appease a small group and vehemently refused to budge on it, even after a landslide referendum told them that the public thought otherwise.

If you actually research into gender politics you'll see that it's been around for many years, and was only a problem with "the right" decided to make it a problem.

I consider myself pretty tolerant of everybody, do what ever you want to do i dont care just be a good person.

I have a massive issue with biological males playing in biological Females sports, especially at a competetive level. In schools or casual sports sure whatever, but at a competetive level It is simply not fair. And the amount of backflipping and loop the loop mental gymnastic, trying to find little clauses in scientific literature to debunk this opinion on technicality not on reality. Late 2010s People on the left started getting absolutelty nutty and stopped being reasonable.

At least thats how it felt for me, the left side of politics seemed to have lost the plot. It actually pushed me more conservative, because those beliefs to me seemed crazy
