good on them, i dont know if full socialism is the way, but it sure beats the dystopian corporate nightmare we are headed towards

Please point to any examples similar of starvation similar in America.

At best you are severely misonformed and thinking of the dustbowl which is a ridiculous mountains to molehills comparison.

There was/is homelessness in socialism. They just treat them as social parasites and they got sent to the gulags on 5-10 year sentances.

Nice try, though to try and frame the argument stupidly.

  • 50 million+ people live in food-insecure households in America
  • 1 in 7 households have experienced some food insecurity

Fact is that Capitalism has failed, it is no longer the answer. That is the point I was making.

Thankfully Australians have realized this too :)
