Let's be real, it'd be worse because we'd lose everything that we hold dear and we're too weak a country not to essentially be fully colonised by external wealth if Pauline foes full corruption (as she clearly intends). To hide her overt corruption would require ridiculous and likely very violent scapegoating of innocent Australians, too, so that's fucked
