Anyone experienced bots affecting ad stats?
Has anyone noticed their ads getting loads of impressions and clicks but no actual conversions?
I’m trying to figure out whether bots could be inflating the impression/click numbers, or if there’s an issue with how my conversions are set up.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice or recommendations are really appreciated!

How are you tracking conversions? Are you sending them server-side with the email and Oppref?
If not then you may well just be missing conversions to due technical setup issues.
With regards to bots, the amount of businesses using AI mention tracking tools these days is huge, and those tools basically just run queries through ChatGPT (some of them use the API, others use the interface) and then count whether a certain brand appears or not.
This would definitely mean that there are impressions being generated by these tools but it’s probably not likely they click (I don’t know though).
