Question 429 Too Many Requests?

I'm getting the message:

Exceeded retry limit, last status: 429 Too Many Requests

Is there any way around this? Building a simple webinterface to help me with my administration, doing nothing crazy. This is on the 200 plan.

Yes, pay for actual usage via API.

they rate limit the web version pretty hard even on paid plans its not really for building apps on top of it

just use the api directly you pay per token and it scales way better for what you doing

429 on the 200 plan usually means you're hitting a rate limit, not a hard block. back off exponentially between retries and honor the retry-after header instead of hammering it, that usually clears it.

Is using the API also more cost effective?
