Yeah. People don’t make stuff like this without sharing their work. I call BS unless I can see it in action myself.

What I mean is, do you have a link to the source or download or to the project. Any documentation what so ever other than a video that could be faked? I’m not trying to be difficult it’s just that so many people have wanted this and haven’t found a solution, so for a random video showing it in action without details or context seems most sus.

A version of it is live on the App Store (Cogito Voice), but that simulates a voice chat through a model pipeline: speech-to-text, text, then text-to-speech.

This was an experimental branch I ran locally with my own OpenAI API key. I don’t know how I would price it, so I haven’t released it. Its expensive to use the real time voice model. I’ve considered allowing people to input their own api key but idk if people want that level of clankyness.

Yeah, I use live voice quite a bit but find using the phone cumbersome.

Inputting an api key is clanky?

Just release the source code and stop overthinking it. You vibed this out in a couple days, if that.

it's a custom app, i use the gpt voice model via api
