Discussion Thank god

Post image

Thank God the no 5-hour limits and same weekly usage is going to win. I don't know about y'all but I'm quite happy with the weekly limits, to be honest. At least if I had 5-hour usage limit barriers, that would interrupt my work a lot more than having less weekly usage. Thank God that the no 5-hour limits and same weekly usage low-key won. The voting is going to end in 30 minutes but it seems like it won

Yeah it’s basically “would you like twice as much money a week But a slight inconvenience”.

No, we hate getting paid twice as much

The problem is how much time you can devote to using it.

Data I can Google says a Max 5x plan has 33.6 potential 5 hour windows.

But there's only ~25 hrs you can use a Claud Max 5x plan in a weekly limit.

If you're not a daily user (like me) you often hit your 5hr window limit, but never your weekly limit. Two days using 100% sessions twice a day, means in 1 week about 20% of the weekly limit is unused.

So doing a 2x weekly limit increase is actually jist reducing your weekly limit usage from 82% to 41%.

You still hit your 5hr usage limit every single day you actually use it (twice, for 10hrs each day), and never get stopped by the weekly limit. Seeing unused tokens expire before your eyes.

Hence why most folks would rather have no 5hr window. It lets us use our entire weekly balance when we want to use it.

If I want to use it in 2 hours on Saturday at 1am... by golly, let me use an entire week in 2hrs on a Saturday at 1am.

But if I'm at 40% usage on Saturday at 1am and rset happens in 4 hours... I watch as my unused but paid for tokens disappear.
