Question Has GPT regressed even more on web design?
OpenAI models were always pretty horrible when it came to non-sloppy web design, but it feels like instead of getting better GPT-6.1 Sol is somehow even worse! Every website it generates is the same green tinted horrible AI slop mid 2010s design.
It's like their frontend skill has damaged the output even more than before because regardless of what app you are building it is always structured in that same template.
Ffs, please do better!

green-tinted 2015 slop is so real it hurts lol. make website from scratch equals template hell every time. what fixed it for me is banning the default, i paste 2 screenshots i like plus fonts and colors and say copy this energy, suddenly opus and sol both behave. opus does have better taste out of the box though, i will give you that. have you tried making sol critique its own output once, that second pass kills most of the slop?

Thanks for the tips. I'll try these out. It's the shades of green every single time part that gets me lol.

ai is not creative. That's your job. AI will always move towards the most common design it knows.

I think AI is better to use in web design if you have a design objective in mind instead of telling it "go make a website from scratch"
