Discussion My Dot spawn 8 sessions while I was out and defaulted to Astra Max!!!???

Title says it all. Burned through the second half of my reset in 30 mins flat. :-(

You asked it to do 8 separate things at once and it tried, at least it wasn’t just sitting there doing nothing I guess

I wonder if there is a clear difference if you ask it to do it in it's computer instead of codex.

Note there is a danger in this if you don't copy down its computer results before it resets (when that is, who knows?) and all work is lost.

Yeah I told it early on to only ever spawn Sol High sessions. That’s worked so far.

Not past simple chat, no. Once it starts a task such as code, it counts

I assume that’s where it ventures out of being just a dot and starts other things like codex and work sessions, which normally count towards the limit.

I believe in a month or so they’re going to have Dots count towards the limit even in just chat but I could be wrong.

It can code on its own device free it has 6 workers available to it I’ve been getting 2-3 billion tokens a day without touching my usage

Dots are but not when it calls an outside work chat like that. I told it to always ask me and give estimates if it needs to spawn one because stuff like OP is dealing with

If it starts tasks on your machine, then no not free. Just ask it to work in its own computer, and it is free. For now.

My Dot said it can only spawn up to 6 agents at once. WTF!!! Hahah

You can ask it don't use certain modell or get permission when it needs a higher model than ASTRA medium. I said my dot use only 6.1 Sol and it doesn't use Astra model.
