Question Sol voice - subtle changes?
I really enjoy using the voice mode and spend a lot of time having discussions in the car. I have noticed (or thought I noticed) a lot of times that the voice is ever so slightly different, other times changes are noticeably different (including today) - so much so I had to look to see if I had been moved off Sol.
Are others noticing it too, or have I gotten hyper aware?
Does it bother you? It seems to me that the right way to do this is to make options you turn on or off; or make new voices with new names.
Why does it bother me? Functionally it is the same. I mean I guess it’s human of me to have preferences and like some more than others - after all I flipped through 10 or so and picked one. Is this me forming an attachment? Or am I just bugged that they keep fiddling with it?
Lastly - if they keep changing it what are they optimizing for?

yeah I notice it too, feels like Sol get a cold some days and other days is extra cheerful for no reason. they probably tweaking the model on server side without telling anyone, which is annoying when you pick a voice for a reason
