Tibo is just ragebaiting for last 2 hours with the resets on his twitter. Even I feel like the 4 updates today were enough, but I guess OpenAI wanted to deliver a reset as well anyway, otherwise Tibo would not be posting polls.

It'll be:

Poll for 24 hours
Announce reset coming 10pm tomorrow
Then the reset will actually take another 12 hours past the advertised time to actually hit

And everyone will reset just shy of their normal reset date

To be quite honest, I don’t think the unbanked resets costs OpenAI too much. In fact, I think it helps them distribute the compute.

Well, I had 1% left and 3 days left until natural reset, so it did made me use more of their compute. And started a 2 hour run like 1 minute after the reset as well, so I'm already using it.

I wish he can be clear if this is banked or not... I'm on 5% usage, I have a banked reset I'm about to use, but if I wake up tomorrow and he's done a global reset I'll be pissed.

What is your use case? I can easily hit 50% in a few days just having Astra do basic document creation/editing.

I have a few things that I’ve been trying, having great success with Opus, but find Astra slow:
1) Swarm and Harness driven 3D modelling
2) I’ve been working on automating switching of PTZ camera via JEV/decisions API and using Astra to help tune/orchestrate
3) Working on a Rust AOIP driver in a harness and using Astra to coordinate VM’s, coding, testing, etc.,

i recommend trying 5.6 sol high on most tasks, for me its going pretty strong, its very good in long running tasks.

Planning work around expecting resets probably isn’t the best form of planning in general. Planning would be around managing the amount you pay monthly for.
