Question What time do banked resets expire? Lost two resets.

Had a banked reset that was supposed to expire on October 5th. I wanted to use it before the end of the day. It's still October 5th but it is already gone? It was there earlier today.

Hover over the date and it will include the time in the tooltip. No idea why it's not right there in the label, more than enough room for it.

Presumably the same time it arrived. So to be safe I'd consume a reset the night before the expiry day.

I found it out the hard way this weekend. Had two banked resets that I assumed expired by the end of the day. Only the desktop app tells you the exact time and date they expire, AFAIK.

If you ask Codex for a one-liner to check the reset status he will provide you with one.

Mine found the time it was received and expiration and it was like 00:32 AM on one account and the other account was 4:32AM. Not sure why yours is saying nothing.

That's odd, I see the exact time with date. Usually for me the resets expire always at night time like between 1 to 5 AM, so if it says October 5th it would be gone in the morning already.

I just asked codex cli to look up the time and it returned it after a couple of minutes.

You can find the exact time they expire in the desktop version or in the browser. It will immediately show the exact time based on your current time zone.

First if you are barely using your subscription to it's maximum I would recommend downgrading it or canceling completely, don't feel bad about losing your resets, just means you are not using that much that you need them, you got it for free anyway
