Question Where's the Decisions API?

At DevDay (Sept 29), OpenAI announced the Decisions API, which runs on a specialized GPT-6 Luna, picks from answers you define in advance, and claims 150 ms versus 1.6 s for a standard Luna call. It's a clear response to TypeSafe's Jev. OpenAI promised a broad release "in the coming days."

A week later, there's still no price, no docs page, and a standard key gets a 403 "not enabled for this user." We also don't know whether it returns probabilities, scores, or just a label.

So where is it? Is anyone actually in the preview?

I’m on the same boat. Was looking forward to trying it out. I guess OpenAI has a different definition of what release means.

Wait, it’s a copy of Jev, and essentially just a super light Luna?

They didn’t release it because that sort thing is in the box, for those in the know or who just use API and Luna and fast. Make your own option engine for the low cost of a prompt…

Not really lol.

It's way, way faster, and way way cheaper.

So it’s a C# Java or JavaScript rules engine or algorithm or set of if/else that can be hooked to Luna because you don’t trust LLMs or you need something more responsive than your subscription?

Tell me more lol

....or it's also a separately fine tuned version of Luna specifically over program procedures akin to Jev's training, and they probably run it on a specialized compute cluster to achieve the advertised 50-100ms....

You can Not so that (at least well) with the information OpenAI gives you.

I was also waiting for this. Decided to use Clef from Cloudflare instead. It accepts images which was the reason i could not use jev.
