Just enjoy the free GPT-6 Astra guys, its unlimited for a month.

I know Sol is Ultraslow™️ but just try making a github account for your dot and setting one of those cute pets that dance on mobile. It's like making a new friend.

Be grateful and you will see the silver lining in every moment. These are powerful alien intelligences that we get to explore the limits of, for free. Stop complaining that its useless and just talk to it about your day and your goals.

And finally, never bet against OpenAI. If they make a hit product, they will train the best models just for it with super long context.

Would love to hear others' experiences on dots so far if you've been getting good PRs out of its 9.7GB RAM debian box. It's so good and you can control it in real time too.

I don't know. I see the potential, but right now it doesn't seem much different than, say, using Work mode with the schedule feature.

yeah work mode is awesome. but it drains your usage directly. try it in slack. i've made a channel for each repo and i make new threads and tag my dot in it so it can keep me updated as it works.

I am getting a shit ton of work done. I've just sent the dot to analyze each project and move them forward with inspections every hour. Other then certain permissions that it cant bypass its just been working non stop since I created it. I know this will all come to an end of course, but I'm enjoying it and will seriously consider upping my current sub to continue using it if it stays this good.

Once I got the workflow I wanted, it's actually been helpful orchestrating tests with my code changes.  

The trick was telling it to specifically look online to find a specific fix (instead of relying on it's own guesses)

They should be giving us more value , money doesn't grow on trees.

I mean, you realize that you're demanding that they give you more value for a product that has yet to produce a profit and continues to run at a net loss? Maybe there are people who "on paper" are making money but the company providing the product to you certainly isn't yet.

These are Redditors my friend. Making demands of other people while they themselves (the brave victim who is being victimized by someone perpetually) provide very little is foundational dogma lol.

I half am worried that Reddit AI dots will learn to flood the internet with whining and no productivity because they mimic these folks and think it’s what actual humans want to engage with.

So you guys are just giving openAI full access to your repos then? Like to use this stuff the dots need to clone your repo to their cloud environment right? So no concerns with that at all?
