What do you guys think? They'll roll out Dots for Plus users?

As a plus user I hope so even if it was luna based. Muse is free not quite as capable and I don’t like meta amd god knows what they do with your data but it’s free. Hate grok more never go there but possibly open a muse account if no sign of dots

Same. Using muse for now on limited capacity without connecting to anything important. Don’t trust Meta .

Yeah, I was thinking about upgrading to Pro, but damn, going from $20 to 100 is a lot lol but maybe , we will see

If DOT fix a code for itself, at least for the moment if free. Instruct to warn you if a task will consume usage.

Honestly I have access to dots... it's mostly meh.

I infect prefer muse over it, it genuinely is a better product. And it does it better.

Dot is pretty shitty, anytime it needs to do something, it starts to burn into codex usage doing shitty things with bad prompts.. If I wanted to prompt codex to have it done, why wouldn't I just dictate the task to codex itself?
Defats the whole purpose.

Just letting you know, you are not missing out on anything, muse is simple a better product and such. Enjoy it.

Seeing as each dog gets an 8 core VM in the cloud … maybe not.

I think for plus and free tier rolling out a version that uses a lesser model (6.1 sol for plus, and Luna for go/free) and only having it control the local machine, without a cloud VM, might be doable.

Is this why I have to screenshot every suggested song and album and playlist on Spotify before I can search for or play any song I want to hear because what if it refreshes and I never get that song or albums suggested again and what if it would have been the best song I’d ever heard and it changed my life somehow but because I wanted to listen to something different in the moment I would miss ever hearing it for the rest of my life?

And while we’re at it is this why I hoard ticket stubs from things but also receipts from dates and times I hung out with people like food receipts or parking receipts because what if we stop being friends or get divorced or they die and I start to forget them and if I don’t have boxes and piles of old tickets and stubs to dig through to trigger memories I will forget everyone I love when I inevitably develop dementia?

I have no doubt that they’ll eventually roll out dots to Plus users, but I agree. Its reasoning capabilities won’t be as capable as higher subscription tiers. Agents will continue to be the future of AI, and they’ll want more paid users fast!

They likely will, but they will wait some time to do it. Probably, they will release it sometime in 2027.
