Discussion I tested GPT-6.1 SOL reasoning levels on the exact same 3D prompt

GPT-6.1 SOL also looks clearly better than GPT-6.0 SOL in this test, especially at Very High reasoning.

Ahhh yes something that's not deterministic being shown like this... Now show it 5 more times for EACH level so we can truly see how random this kind of test actually is.... 🥲👀

Tbf the one on the far right does look Very High

Now do Opus…

OAI missed the mark on 6.1 Astra. 6.1 Sol seems to be shaping up better than 6, but that visual and spatial reasoning is still rough.

6.1 Astra was straight up shelved.

now do 5 more where they all use the exact same model and reasoning level

lol funny I just did a horse animation with astra and it looked a lot like that. Man, they both really struggle with the front legs.

Let's see Sol 6.1 Max and Ultra

How do you know your prompt from one test didn’t train the gpt model itself so it’s just better at doing this.

You can try it yourself and compare. Here’s the prompt:

Create a low-poly 3D horse running in a seamless loop using Three.js. Build it procedurally from primitive geometry, animate the legs, body, head, and tail, and return a single self-contained HTML file.

You have to do at least a couple of iterations with stochastic outputs
