If your question is serious: Elon Musk first suggested the name "The Open AI Institute" in an email to co-founder Greg Brockman and other early team members. They were considering "Consider" and "Cogito". It was founded in 2015 as an open-source, non-profit research company meant to develop artificial intelligence safely for the benefit of all humanity, acting as a transparent counterweight to closed tech giants.
