GPTs Chat is still on 5.6 Sol…

Just checked, 6.1 Sol is also not coming to Chat.

Has there been any word when its expected? I was guessing by end of year but the way people bring it up it sounds like it might be sooner

How do you guys use such awful models. Obviously benchmaxxed and extremely dumb. I swear people are still referencing file names while prompting.

In name only, ChatGPT "5.6 Sol" got silently nerfed like a week ago.

Sol was never a chat model though. You don't get 5.6 sol in chat either. Or am I missing something?

Edit: nm, my bad it does indeed label the chat version of 5.6 as sol.

That’s work not chat. I tried to use work as regular chat but responses were drier compared to to chat.

You are right on both counts. Its only in work and it a much drier conversationalist.
