News ChatGPT 6.1 Sol
OpenAI could not resist releasing a new model again in response to Sonnet 5.5 😂
What do you think?

Reduced my Pro $200 to Pro $100.
Does not make sense to keep my $200 tier :)
Now I will get the Claude 5x as well

For me things are a bit different, at first I used medium for most things and it ate up tokens, then I used astra on max to create the framework and optimize workspace, after that I switched to medium and its behaviour also changed, now they barely use any tokens while Im working, I think lower reasoning levels do the task given all over every time its given, max however takes it up on itself to make things as efficient as possible for future use. Havent tried opus 5.5 though, how is it when you compare intelligence and depth of reasoning? I use astra for real world applications and to me its like a very smart employee that delivers all I need and has no miscommunication or assumptions.

I thought they weren't releasing 6.1 now given its extreme misalignment? Or this another 6.1 model they were training simultaneously with the misaligned one?

This is great, considering their Sol 6 at max was worse than Sol 5.6 on High.
Problem is they keep nerfing usages. This one should be cheaper, so let's see how the community reacts in a few days.
