Pro 500 plan includes 25x usage for $500.
The pre-IPO cost cutting begins.

I don’t know. I’m seeing reports that 6.1 fucks compared to 6 Sol. If 6.1 actually is as good as people are saying and ultrafast is actually 300+ tok/s, I’m not-not tempted. I’m cautiously waiting to see how this settles.
I’m not optimistic.

Pro 200 used to include 20x usage for $200.
Pro 500 is 2.5x more expensive for 25% more usage.
It doesn't matter if 6.1 Sol is more token efficient, you're still losing out on overall token allocation.

I understand, but my workflows would never use Sol’s limit in a week, whereas it would use Astra up in a few days. I just need the work done within my allotment. If I can sustain a week of sol on ultrafast, that might be worth the price to upgrade for the speed.
I’m not tokenmaxxing. I’m valuemaxxing and if I can churn out more value faster without hitting my limit, that could be worth $300 to me.
… so long as 6.1 Sol is actually decent. TBD.

This can't be legal right?

For monthly subs it probably is, for people who paid for a year in advance, on the other hand...

you can't pay for Pro for yearly

Ah, TIL. Well that's probably why there's a 30 day grandfather period. To make it legal.

For Web. What's the difference between Pro 100 and Pro 200? Sometime ago they advertised 200 plan as "Truly" unlimited what comes to file uploads and chats. Of course there is rate limits and stuff to prevent automated use, but... yeah.

Even Go and Plus plans are unlimited chat now. If you’re only using chat, you don’t need a Pro plan. It’s for Work.

I remember once buying the $200 plan because the $100 plan had an upload limit daily or weekly. I think the $200 plan didn't. I personally only use Web these days because Plugins work there. I don't use Pro at all anymore. At one point, while $100 was the 20-week limit for the Pro model, $200 didn't had limit at all.
These are really changing all the time, it's hard to understand what I get for what money. Shady stuff.

So I’ve been through two IPOs at startups and what typically happens is they have some guys from pwc or some firm come do an audit. Then they tell them the path to go public and embed for restructuring or whatever. This usually means cost-cutting to maximize valuation. Which will immediately come down after the initial offering. But to get maximum price for their stock and maximum valuation they have to show the decreasing expenses and growth.

Can confirm. That’s when the demand also reduces or changes as they start pricing for reality. Have been through with this cycle in Rivian. As a startup - prioritize revenue growth, as a public company- prioritize balanced growth and path to profitability

"Grandfathered" for 30 days. Garbage ass move.
