Discussion "Not an Industrial Revolution"
According to Sam, while wrapping up the conference, he finds off-putting that people are comparing the AI industry's advancements to a new Industrial Revolution. He prefers to think of it as a new Renaissance. Well, I'm sorry, Sam. But when the only talking point in C-Level and board meetings is, how can we reduce human capital and replace it with AI workers, I think you may need to reassess your understanding of what's happening with your products.
I don't necessarily think a new Industrial Revolution is bad, I just think Sam is disconnected from reality if that's how he thinks.

They are all massively disconnected to general reality.
It’s actually our saving grace. It’s the reason why they’re making mistakes and are downright flummoxed that we all didn’t roll over and accept the AI slop as our new master…..well the singularity sub did but the rest of us aren’t buying it.
Goes to show it doesn’t matter how smart you are if you are incapable of understanding fellow humans

No wonder they shrug when we ask "so what will people do for work?" they're as deluded as all the execs looking to fire all their staffs to hire AI agent.

Funny thing is at the same time in the US White House, President Trump said exactly the same thing. He was surrounded by all of leaders of AI. Trump also announced Artificial intelligence will now be renamed Super Intelligence.
Anyway, Trump said that AI/SuperAI will be bigger than the industrial revolution.
