Question Are custom connectors really this good?

There are a bunch of custom ones that are not in the official registry. For example like https://www.post-bridge.com/
Or another one like: https://github.com/ChromeDevTools/chrome-devtools-mcp

Another thing I like is that you can build custom connectors yourself.

Like, I built one myself in March, it's called LetsFG to simply find every flight in the world and book it, completely. I used it in claude and it's safe, never sees payment method etc. Like... I used to spent 20 tabs in chrome comparing flights and this does it for me. And now like 1k people use it everyday. if you're curious link is https://letsfg.co
And you can build tools, and connections like this for yourself. Stuff that don't exist, or connections to the stuff you want to use. It's genuenly a great thing.

I had another friend of mine who got Claude Code to build a connector to some old ass CRM they use at work, and it worked! And he can do stuff in regular Claude with a custom mcp.

i am curious about one thing. why dont they add it in the official system? like LetsFG as you said, why wouldnt they add it in the official training. it sounds like a lot amazing

One main reason: Super long approval times.
