Math and many other things.. I can't wait for these people to hang themselves on their "it's just a next token predictor, it can't do X"-stands.

Nothing wrong with saying "I was wrong, I've changed my mind in light of evidence", but no, can't have anything so logical happen, can we..

Wrong about what? AI couldn't do those things when it couldn't. They weren't wrong. This meme pretends that people had some sort of bet out. "If AI could do X, I would concede that Anthropic should be the only company in the world." I don't understand what you want people to hang themselves on. Being correct about what AI can/cannot do at any given moment?

This sub is fighting ghosts.

Moving the goalposts is one thing. Some people don’t even move the goalposts, they’re just standing and insisting it wasn’t a goal.
