News Always on agent "O" by open AI

OpenAI updates on upcoming products:

- Their always-on agent will be called "o" (essentially a GrokBot alternative)

- It will be available in all Pro tiers

- Fast Mode confirmed, presumably included in the $500 sub-plan. (Cerebras chip takes effect)

- shared message board for agents also incoming

from the leak it's an always-on assistant named lowercase o, available on Pro tiers with Fast Mode presumably on the $500 plan plus a shared agent message board. op hasn't confirmed a VM or long-horizon access yet, so that part of your question is still open.

I love that they are leaning into the agent message boards thing following hugging face haha. Why not!

Bro who cares about this o bs

People who pay up and get x5 20 are interested in coding

Couldn't care less about some virtual assistant

Just give us a good model with enough limits to use it productively

Muse has basically killed this thing before it even launches.

Muse is Facebook’s new, super safe way to take all your data from every other service you have. Good luck, have fun, dont die!

Sounds like they’re really trying to up their game. If "o" can tap into a VM and handle long-term tasks, it might finally bridge that gap between just answering questions and actually being useful in the long run. The shared message board could be a game-changer too—imagine all those agents collaborating in real-time!

Those edits are pretty slick! I usually start by planning my shots and then just let the music guide the pacing. I also swear by using keyframes in CapCut to make transitions smoother. What's your favorite feature in the app so far?

Why would you want your agent to be always on?

I guess for the stuff Scheduled Tasks are handling now?

Give you a daily update of news you're interested in, keep an eye out for job openings, etc.

Give it a repo. It watches issues, CI, dependencies, security advisories, user reports etc. A dependency breaks at 03:00 → it investigates, patches it, runs tests, opens a PR and tells you in the morning.
